This course will teach you the basics of observational drawing and painting through a series of 'building block' exercises and fun drawing activities. You will be able to make choices leading towards developing your own personal style and so that by Term 3 you will be able to develop your own personal projects.
This is a fun and relaxed class where you can develop your drawing and painting potential.
My main aim is to get you to look carefully and draw what you see not what you know or imagine you see. This is fundamental in learning to draw from observation. Once you have mastered the basic drawing principles you will be able to apply them to anything you wish to draw both realistically and imaginatively.
